Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Customer & Commercial Strategy Manager / Senior Manager for a permanent role at our Helsinki office. You will work in the following areas:

  • Growth Strategy: Define future markets and revenue streams.
  • Customer Strategy: Identify target customer segments, product mix, and channels.
  • Commercial Excellence: Ensure profitable market entry and new business value.
  • Digital and AI Strategy & Products: Explore technological opportunities and develop future digital and AI-enabled products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Defining strategies to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction.
  • Aligning customer strategy with business objectives.
  • Planning and executing strategies, establishing, measuring, and following up on KPI frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Offering Development: Lead the development of customer & commercial strategy offerings, methodologies, and points of view.
  • Business Development: Build client relationships, lead sales teams, and craft market propositions and shape proposals to client needs.
  • Project Delivery: Manage project teams and deliver impactful client projects.
  • People Development: Coach and support junior colleagues.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience (e.g., top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy).
  • Proficiency in strategy work, operating model, and strategic customer experience (CX) development with executive-level decision-makers.
  • Industry experience in industrial, financial and/or consumer sector.
  • Experience in offering and go-to-market development and sales.
  • Understanding of design thinking and human-centric approaches in business development.
  • Understanding of possibilities of new digital technologies to elevate the customer experience.
  • Strong networking skills and personal impact. Experience in working with cross-border teams and organizations is a plus.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Economics, STEM) with excellent academic performance.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English. Swedish, Norwegian and/or Danish proficiency is a plus.
