We are looking for Researcher
for technology evaluation. You will join our Biotechnology Department in Technology Benchmarking and Piloting Team that is part of Neste Research and Development unit.
Your main responsibilities are related to evaluation of growth opportunities, especially within renewable and low carbon chemicals field. You will support the team in projects through techno-economic analysis, conclusions and decision-making. Your responsibilities include technology screening, technology analysis, process calculations, process concept evaluations and process development research tasks.
Key requirements for the position include:
- Master’s degree from relevant field, e.g. Process Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience from R&D or Engineering tasks
- Understanding on chemical industry applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including relevant tools (e.g. Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation and report writing skills
- Teamwork skills
- Forward looking and entrepreneurial attitude
- Fluent in English
The position will be located in Kilpilahti industrial area in Porvoo (Finland), which is located only some 30 minutes away from Helsinki city centre by car. We also arrange bus transportation for our employees from Helsinki, Porvoo and the surrounding areas.
The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including drug test. Security clearance is obtained for the employee with his/her consent.
