As a Sales Engineer your goal is to find and create new sales contacts, opportunities and business based on Teknikum’s expertise and solutions. You take commercial responsibility in selected accounts and achieve sales targets through proactive management of client relationships. You are continuously providing Teknikum’s technical expertise to our clients and being responsible for quotations and business development. You act as a link between client and Teknikum teams (e.g. R&D projects, assembly teams) and manage client projects. You work closely with your colleagues in sales, production, R&D and logistics. You report to Sales Director.
We expect you to have minimum 3-5 years’ experience in applicable technical solutions sales roles or client interfacing roles in B2B context. We highly appreciate your knowledge and capability to understand client requirements and processes from applicable industries (e.g. mining, machine building, automotive and process industry). In addition, experience in rubber and plastic solutions or industrial goods and equipment would be beneficial in the job. You have an applicable Master or Bachelor degree in engineering. We expect you to be hands-on, curious about the future industrial trends, driving for success and able to operate in variable business environments. You are fluent in Finnish and English, Swedish is highly appreciated.
