As a Sales Director you will manage the overall sales strategy and lead the sales team and activities of the defined industry segments. You will be in charge of developing and implementing sales strategy, KPIs, processes and other sales related tasks together with your team. Your goal is to enable and lead business growth by both enhancing our current business and solution sales but also by identifying and developing new ways and opportunities in the markets and applications. Additionally, you will be personally involved in driving our top clients and actively supporting sales team. The role is scalable with wide range of different responsibilities from company level planning together with management to leading large scale client programs and business development to ensure long-term sustainability and growth of the business. You work closely with your colleagues e.g. in management, sales and R&D. You will report to the Global Head of Sales.
To be successful in this role we expect you to have a proven track record in driving results through leading sales, sales organization and business development in international context. We highly appreciate your solid background and understanding of applicable industries and businesses with investment products and industrial equipment (e.g. mining, machine building, automotive and process industry). You are ambitious, committed to deliver results and possess a strategic mind-set and ability to analyse markets as well as the future trends of the applications and industries. You have an applicable Master or Bachelor degree. In addition you have experience and capability to navigate in an global business environment. The job requires regular travelling internationally. You are fluent in English and other languages will be considered as an asset.
