We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to our Procurement function, with competence and experience in sourcing activities in an international environment. The position is a temporary maternity leave replacement, estimated period to be from 1.11.2016 until 31.01.2018.
Your primary responsibilities will be within the Indirect Services area, e.g. in real estate, communications, consultancy, HR, office services, work wear, travel or leasing cars services.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- independently manage defined specific Indirect Services area(s)
- develop, implement and manage sourcing strategy together with cross-functional internal stakeholders
- manage and lead complex sourcing projects, negotiations and supplier performance
- seek new solutions and suppliers
- closely co-operate with existing suppliers
You will be carrying out supplier pre-selection, tendering, contracting and relationship management duties according to Fortum's processes. You will also cooperate with different stakeholders in order to develop the processes and cost effectiveness of Indirect services areas, on both strategic and operational level.

We expect you to have a university level degree in a relevant area (e.g. economics) and at least three years of purchasing manager experience in an international environment. Experience in real estate and public procurement is considered a merit.
We expect you are proficient in MS Office tools.
You are driven by results and you have strong leadership and influencing skills. You are goal-oriented, you focus on development and you have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You are a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team. As a person you are positive and efficient, and most importantly, you have a great "can do" attitude. Your way of working is analytical and accurate. You have proven project management skills.
To be successful in this position you should have a fluent command of Finnish and English. Swedish skills are considered an advantage.
