Summary of position

The Corporate Sales Manager reports to the Berlitz Helsinki Language Center Director and serves as the company's sales representative within an assigned territory. He/She is responsible for driving new sales opportunities with corporate clients for all Berlitz solutions and supporting key account management and marketing activities with the Helsinki team. The person we are looking for has a passion for languages, culture and global business.

The position includes a base salary and a variable commission package. Commissions are not capped and include over-quota accelerators.

The contract will start as a fixed-term period of nine months. A successful candidate will be invited to continue with us beyond the fixed-term period.

Essential duties and responsibilities

- Proactively prospecting, identifying, and qualifying sales opportunities via sales calls, email, social media and networking events.
- Consultative sales, including conducting all aspects of negotiation and closure.
- Pipeline management and relationship building.
- Developing tailored presentations and presenting to business leaders.
- Participating in the development and execution of marketing initiatives and social media networking.
- Data reporting and gathering market information.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 2+ years of related sales experience with focus on business development.
- Experience of calling into corporations and navigating through personnel to gain access to decision makers.
- Proven track record in B2B sales (for example Learning and Development, Training, Consulting) preferred.
- Excellent speaking, writing, and presenting skills.
- Experience with CRM.
- Experience in marketing and working with social media.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, e.g. in business, marketing or sales.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.

- Passion for and outstanding skills in communicating with different people.
- Hunger to develop new business - tenacity and persistence.
- Works well independently and as a part of a team.
- Native level proficiency in Finnish required, must have fluent spoken and written skills in English, other languages are an asset.
- International experience is an advantage.
- Critical thinker and multi-tasker, able to achieve deadlines and perform under pressure.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Creative, collaborative and solutions-oriented.
